Sunday Morning Worship
Our Sunday morning worship gatherings combine ancient traditions with innovative ways of encountering the divine. We use The Book of Common Prayer as our guide and framework, while also striving to make our services accessible and inclusive for people from a variety of faith backgrounds.
Sunday morning services include music, storytelling and sharing, hearing and reflecting on Scripture, prayer, and sharing the sacred meal of Holy Communion. We value creativity and joy in our worship and encourage everyone to fully participate as you feel comfortable.
Services begin at 10am and are held at Studio 219 @ the Sunshine Brooks Theater, located in downtown Oceanside at 219 N Coast Highway, Oceanside, CA 29054.
Free parking is available in the lot behind the theater at 218 N Tremont St, or in the municipal parking garages located on Civic Center Drive or Seagaze Drive.
Dinner Church
We meet weekly on Sunday evenings for Dinner Church in Downtown Oceanside. At these gatherings, we have a short, informal service that includes centering, meditation, prayer, and music followed by a shared potluck meal and conversation.
All ages are welcome. You are invited to bring food to share, but you are also welcome to just show up!
No matter where you are in your journey of faith, we invite you to explore and participate with us.
Dinner Church meets from 5pm-7pm on Sundays in the cafe room at Oceanside Sanctuary Church (204 S Freeman St, Oceanside CA 92054)
Resonance
Resonance is a free, all-ages event at St. Brigid’s that builds community through creative expression.
It’s a space for all creatively-inclined people — artists, musicians, writers, and more — to showcase their work and to practice spontaneous creation together.
Night Prayer on Zoom
Our Zoom Night Prayer service is a great way to end your day with peace and spiritual connection. We meet virtually every Thursday evening at 6pm PST for a brief check-in and sharing time followed by a short, contemplative prayer service. Typically we alternate between the Compline liturgy in The Book of Common Prayer or the Night Prayer liturgy in A New Zealand Prayer Book.
All are welcome to join us, regardless of your faith background. You can access the service on Zoom by clicking the button below.
