Outreach/ Street Chaplains

Our street outreach team provides care and connection for our unhoused neighbors by meeting and loving people face-to-face. On Sundays following our morning worship service, team members bring socks, clothing, and hygiene supplies to our friends in need in downtown Oceanside. But even more importantly, we build connections and relationships to help people know that they are seen and loved.

Social Justice

At St. Brigid’s, we are passionate about advocating and working for justice for all, especially for marginalized people in our city and region. We are particularly passionate about immigrant’s rights, LGBTQ+ issues, and disability justice.

Members of our community participate in various justice-centered activities, including marches and vigils, speaking at City Council meetings, coordinating voter education initiatives, and partnering with other local organizations for community organizing.
